Hi, Im Joanie. I am one of the co-owners of Momentum Aerial, based in Flagstaff, Arizona. Our studio is a bustling school, with over 100 weekly classes and 400 students. We focus on recreational training for the community of Flagstaff. I love working with kids and teens, and I also teach adults. My apparatuses are silks and lyra.
I am also a founding member of Dark Sky Aerial, an aerial theatre company that produces original work centered around the human condition. So excited to be at EdCon for my second time. I absolutely loved 2016 and 2018, where I was a co-presenter for a workshop on the meta analysis of language used in circus arts classrooms.
