Part 3 of a 3-part Social Circus Series
Zoe Brookes, Charlotte Byram and Jen Agans have curated a series of workshops on starting social circuses and demonstrating their impact to funders, focused on those areas that many working in the field find most challenging.  Each part of the series builds on the next, so come to them all, or jump in at the part that reflects the challenges you’re working on now.

This session is the final session of the series, but you do not need to have attended the other sessions to come to this one!
You know your program works and you have plenty of anecdotes to prove it, but you (or your potential funders) want to have some more rigorous evidence of program outcomes. Or maybe you already have an evaluation system in place, but you’re not happy with it and you want to learn about other options. Come to this workshop to learn about using scientifically-validated measures to assess the impact of your program.
This workshop will introduce the AYCO/ACE Program Evaluation Toolbox, a step-by-step system designed to help circus programs conduct rigorous, yet accessible, evaluation. In this workshop, we will walk through the Toolbox and explore how to apply each step to your program, focusing on selecting appropriate measures and collecting survey data from participants. After completing the workshop, participants will be familiar with the resources in the AYCO/ACE Evaluation Toolbox and be ready to use it or other rigorous systems of data collection to evaluate their own programs.
This workshop is recommended for directors, senior staff, or administrators as well as anyone else interested in program evaluation, regardless of your level of evaluation experience. For those new to evaluation, the first two workshops in the Social Circus Series are recommended prior to attending this one.
