Inventive Trapeze Pathways and Sequences FULL

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity full

Learn inventive trapeze sequences to bring back to your own students, working through progressions that build the components phase by phase into final choreographic phrases that can be modified based on student capability. We'll talk about concepts that make the pathways work, common student pitfalls and cues that can help, and ways to expand these pathways in new directions. Sequences will focus on navigating and understanding moving in/around the trapeze ropes and rolling and twisting around the bar. This workshop is designed for teachers of int/adv trapeze students looking for new material and inspiration. Megan has been trapezing since 2006, graduated NECCA’s Pro-Track, and completed the Nimble Arts intermediate trapeze teacher training. She is a constant researcher and creator in the air, and while she loves to share her work on Instagram (@megangendell), she likes sharing it in person even more.
